Chief Organizational Officer: Josh Emmett
Josh graduated from Torrington High School in 2010 where he was captain of both the football and track team. He is now entering his final year at UConn as a Finance major. Josh is in the Honors Program and in the Special Program in Law and plans on attending law school after he graduates from UConn. Josh had no experience rowing before he joined the Crew team but he rowed in the first varsity eight spring of his freshman year after a long winter of intense training. He became a member of the executive board his sophomore year as the Alumni Relations Officer. In the Fall of his Junior year Josh was voted captain and will continue to be captain through his Senior year.
Vice President: Dom Kruszewski
Dom, a native of Norwalk, CT, is entering his senior year at the University of Connecticut, studying Civil Engineering major with a focus in structures. Elected captain for the 2013-14 season, Dom looks to lead by example and encourage younger rowers to push their limits physically and mentally for the continuous development of fast crews. Dom has been with the team for almost three years, predominantly rowing starboard. Dom’s athletic goals include obtaining medals during the fall and spring water seasons, as well as breaking his personal record on the ergometer during winter training. In terms of academics, Dom is positioned to graduate with his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering at the end of the spring, with plans to attend graduate school in pursuit of a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
