Parking

There is free parking available. The park lots will be first-come, first-served. Buses, after dropping off, and any overflow parking, will proceed 0.4 miles past park entrance to George Hersey Robertson School. People will be at the park and school to direct you. There is a nice sidewalk between the school and park.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO parking allowed on Lake Street; cars can and will be towed.

Spectators

If you have team tents, they can be set up anywhere (within reason leaving room for boat maneuvering). There is a 3-sided, covered, wood floor area that can be used, but it does not face the water. There is also a pavilion with fixed picnic tables as well as the beach area. Please avoid blocking any lane markers on the beach.

Facilities will be available in the form of port-a-potties by the UConn Women’s boathouse/launch dock.

There are dumpsters available at two locations in the park: in the upper parking lot and by the boathouses. Please plan to leave the park as good or better than you found it by either carrying trash out with you or making use of the dumpsters.
