Support UConn Crew Through IGNITE!

It's almost time to donate to Ignite!

Ignite is a fundraising competition that UConn Men’s Crew participates in. We are looking towards our family, friends, peers and alumni for donations to help support our team. With the help of Ignite donors such as yourself, our team has been able to:

Purchase our Flagship 8+ “Legacy” in 2019

Refurbish our Boathouse in 2020

Purchase a New Boat Trailer in 2021

Purchase a Lightweight 4+ “Semprebon” in 2023

And buy other essentials the team needs in order to operate, such as SpeedCoaches and a collection of ergs we still use to this day!

Unfortunately, The UConn Undergraduate Student Government (USG) needed to cut $10,000 from our semesterly budget, disallowing our team to operate as smoothly as it once did. With your help, we can bring back these funds to support our team and allow it to reach the potential we know it has!

Donations are going towards funding our Spring Break training at Camp Bob in South Carolina! If we do not reach our donation goal, we will use the funds to help the general operations of the team. This includes buying much needed equipment, such as Skinny Oars and RP3 ergs, as well as helping reduce costs to make joining the team more accessible for students, and to help pay our new, Full-Time Coach, Logan McClennen. Even a small donation of at least $5 will greatly help our team!

Also, the UConn Foundation is generously offering $1,000 in prize money to the team with the most individual donors (minimum $5) and $1,000 for the most funds raised overall; we intend to win that competition with YOUR support!
