DONATE to the 2019 Ignite Fundraiser!
On Monday February 18th, we begin our largest fundraiser of the year. UConn Men’s Crew has grown extensively over the past few years – with the team at its largest and fastest, we require new equipment to allow us to grow and remain competitive against other programs nationwide.
The donations we received in 2017 allowed the team to purchase the Lara – a racing shell from Cornell University, while the funds from 2018 resulted in the purchase of 24 rowing machines for the team’s new training room. This year’s donations will all be used in the direct support of UCMC, examples of this may include purchasing the teams newest racing shell or other training equipment.
Ignite is a crowdfunding effort sponsored by the UConn Foundation, where participating groups can compete for additional dollars by meeting certain criteria. The program begins on February 18, and culminates on Giving Day, March 27-28. We will be targeting specific groups of donors each week to maximize the success of Ignite 2019, with the challenges listed below.
